Hey, Since the TV/Movie board gone, I think this is the Right Thing to post this.

Well, you all know the situation: You watch tv, need to go to the toilet but dont wanna miss what happens next episode of your favorite show. So you wait till the Adbreak comes and you run to the toilet, be there, come back and prolly then the next show starts or there is still some time left.
Or you keep sitting, but then the Break just makes you wanna rage because all those spots are shit.

Problem is: Pay-TV. You look some excellent Film but you need to piss so hard. Well, now mostly on Pay-TV, there is no break. So what do you do, let your pee-bubble explode.

So you cannot just remove ads from Normal Tv.

What do you think could be done to have some good stuff between Shows in normal TV?

Also: Thought this could be some cool topic for Discussion, if its not, move it :o

You could always get the thing where you can pause your stuff, then piss, then come back and hit play.

Almost every digital reciver/hardisk recorder/paytv box that is new can pause live tv.

have an intermission with dancing food.

Haha I had a cracked Pay-TV box, my parents wanted russian TV, so they got it, including every pay tv sender (). Now They coded them somewat else and we cant decode it anymore.

Also That Pause button only works for the picture, not for the sound :/

Hit the "mute" button, and ignore anything you dont want to see? Advertising has become a necessary evil in most of the world economy today. It sucks, and everyone hates it, and no matter how hard you try you can not go unaffected by it in any developed country...but it DOES fund a whole lot of things we wouldnt see otherwise.

Hah there is no ads on BBC, just about 1 min inbetween programs with short trailers for other programs of theirs.

Works pretty well, if you need to piss you can piss.

Anyway as Gorman said most people now a days have the option to pause, rewind and record TV. (I can't remember what you use in the USA but over here in Britain there are a lot of options).

But of course you can't remove ads from normal TV stations. It's their main source of income.

I don't know about you guys, but I like watching TV ads. I don't know why though, maybe it's the same reason I love watching the Home Shopping Network <.<
