iphone vncing
seems like the perfect match between portability and interface, and brute power.

i'm pretty sure if you have a wifi network then you can use that to play a whole lot of games... but i'm not totally sure.
LIGHTING FROM MY EYES
yeah, i can play any game that i have on my computer, but the FPS is really shit, unless i lower my computer res to like 900x600. Then i can get around 5 fps or something ;)

Well realistically you'd need to lower your computer res to whatever your iPhone's is, to remove any lag that wouldn't be hardware related. From then on you could rest assured that any lag would merely be due to VNC itself being an interface much to slow to steam 30 fps of anything.

:D
I think it still lags from the network speed, dunno how smooth the wifi can be, especially with the iphone not being the fastest wifi device ever made etc...

It's not really the network speed, it's what you're transferring. Transferring input from your iPhone to that desktop and then you're wanting its display sent instantly back to you at a cruisin' 30 fps? Face it, VNC is a sloooow technology. It's only meant to be used for accessing a computer without a monitor, really. It's not at all meant for gaming using an iPhone, don't ever EVER expect it to do that.
im pretty sure the limitations of the iphone network adaptors would be an issue...

besides, wifi adaptors work asif they hav seperatr in/out ports right?
i see no lag server side in terms of input, only on the iphone
