well, it began when i bought a head texture and i put it, all was good, but then i bought another (.tga format too) and when i upload it it says :
Upload Failed. Make sure the filetype is valid
Contact support for more informationi've tried all: deactivating textures, taking out all items , but nothing

make sure the size of new head image is 128 by 128 pixel.

Seems like there might be some bugs in the uploading, did you try .jpg format?
Yesterday we got a report that only .jpg works, try it, check if it works for you too.
