It means that someone else is using your name. If you aren't registered, there isn't anything you can do about it. It might even be possible that someone else registered there game with that name.

However, it's still possible for someone to take your new name.
Until you buy a registration key, you can't prevent someone from using your name in Toribash.

Just send a private message to an Admin of the forums', i'm sure they will willingy change your name. Well for a part of your soul anyway.
