Whenever I try to make a new room, I get this error message



I'm not sure what to do, and I tried reinstalling the game too.
:/

This happens after it says connected to server with the red text in the chat. Afterward I get the message that tb has stopped working.

I'm running this on a new pc running Vista home premium 64-bit. Could this be why?

EDIT: I tried running it in compatibility mode and also as administrator. Still the same

Also I'm able to join games, just not create.

Hmm well when I get that error that means I have ran out of psyhical memory.

I'm not sure that on vista thats the same thing.

But I'm pretty sure that Vista is causing this for you. Vista has had troubles after 3.8 came out for some reason.

Well I have 8 gigs of ram now, so I don't think it's the memory.

I could always create the server from my laptop, log in with the pc, and op myself XD

When I clicked this I thought I had got an error message and tried to click ok xD

My advice is to revert to 3.7, I got problems with 3.80 too (I'm on Vista 32-bit). 3.7 is the best choice I'm afraid

There's a C++ Runtime update for Vista that fixes 99% of these problems.

It's definitely not a 64bit issue since me & many others use 64 Windows. Can't be a generic Vista one either since there's a lot using that with no issues.

My advice - get the runtime updates.

I just got this same error. Im running toribash 3.8 on Vista Ultimate 32bit


Ill look for the runtime updates and see if that helps. Although this just started happening right now for me.
