Its a reasonable question. Not all threads are aimed at you MasterRevan1.

Some people may want to create their own game and game engines are complicated. If you have a decent game engine already written that you can use, it makes it much easier.

If everyone had the same attitude as you, no games would ever be written. We would all be playing the first "great game" that was written without a programming language and no-one would know how to add anything to it.
