Well, to solve the problem with losing belts, you could register.

Play again until it crashes. After that, go look in your Toribash folder. There should be a file called "stderr.txt". Open it, and copy/paste what's in it and post it here.

Also, helpful would be to post your system specs. CPU, Graphics Card, RAM.

You can also try updating your graphics drivers.
