A week ban is 10 points.
A month ban is 15 points.
And a year ban is for anything they want.
And a perma ban is 20 points.

There really is no set amount dont listen to that post.

I know this from experience its just a large buildup in a short amount of time.

If you get 20 points over a year nothing will happen because of it.

Infraction points expire therefore you would need quite a few points, lets say in a 3 day period, for the moderators to punish for it.

Basically this. But the infractions have to still be active. So like, if you get 3 points of infraction every few weeks, you will not be banned. But if you get a few infractions over a day or two, you will probably get a ban.

Also, keep in mind that the moderators have some flexibility in this. If you're new, and you've never broken any rules except for a little slip-up, then you might not end up receiving an infraction at all. On the other hand, If you're a constant annoyance, and breaking rules all the time, but just not enough to get banned, someone will notice eventually and ban you for it.
