+Can't connect to any servers after install (Ver 3.8 Windows 7)
Hello yall'

I'm new to version 3.8 of Toribash but not to Toribash itself.
I played it a lot earlier on xp and it worked fine, as far as I can remember.
But now I changed to Windows 7 and this is the first time playing Toribash again. So on to the problem, whenever I try to connect to a server it says;

> forwarding to XX.XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:XXXX
> connected to XX.XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:XXXX
Then on the center of the screen it says "NOT CONNECTED" and after that nothing happens.

I'm pretty sure I have my username and password correct so I don't think it's that. So, any ideas what's wrong and how I can fix it?

Note: On the server select menu I can see the list of players in the sever, if that helps.

It shouldn't depend on the OS, as I myself am running Toribash 3.8 on Windows 7 RC Build 7100. Your problem seems like a problem with the connection between Toribash and the Toribash servers. This might be caused by gates closed in a router or firewall. If you try turning off your firewall for an instant whilst trying to connect, I could try to diagnose the problem closer.

Or it might be as simple as that you're trying to connect to a higher belt server. Try to make a new one, or join a server appropriate to your belt. (Before black belt: Beginner, Intermediate and Semipro. After black belt: Black Belt. After 5th dan: Black belt/elite).
Good point, at the moment it takes a few shots to create or join a room.

aslask, if the firewall is blocking Toribash, the rooms wouldn't appear at all.
Ah, I got it to join, I was only trying to join beginner servers, but I forgot that I was a green belt. >.< It should say that your belt level is too high for the server or something.

While I'm asking dumb questions, is there a way to change the camera controls so you can view the fight from the top? Rather then having it zoom in when you move the mouse up.
You'll need the FreeCam script for that, without having it so close from the top. FNugget gives nice instructions, and it's a must for improved camera navigation.
