128 by 128.
when making head you can use any multiple of this including.
256 by 256

So would making something that's 256 by 256 have the same resolution as 128 by 128?

And would you still need to resize it?

i belive you can rezize it using gimp.

yes making something thats 256. than rezizing to 126. Thatll have the same resolution.

Most people make heads with 256 then rezize because its easier making it on a bigger template

i only do my head in 128by128 is more easy to do shadows and details,but i can upload in other size??(holly crap in the sticky)

You can upload any size, it will be automatically resized and will show up as 128 by 128.

I personally use 512 by 512 to make the texture, then upload it as it is, no need to resize it.
