So, anyone used eharmony or match? Can you tell about your experience using these services?

I haven't and I don't intent to, but a friend of mine is quite the shy one and I'm not sure if suggesting it to her would be a good or bad thing.

I got desperate once and tried out a trial on eHarmony. I went on one date, but it was just really awkward. I guess if you are up to the whole blind date thing it would be alright, but it's just not for me.

They're really only good for finding single (or married, lol) people. You've still got to catch them when you meet them. If it's awkward going on normal dates it'll probably be awkward doing this, too, unless you have an opportunity to get to know them better before you meet them.

I've never used one but I think most (not saying all relationships before everyone starts to disagree) relationships formed on those sites are too artificial and awkward.
