I'm making a head and having problems trying to draw words onto the head as it messes up when I upload it into toribash.

For GIMP, you do that text box thing, choose the color, and write. If you want it on the back you have to put half of the letters on the right side, and half on the left.

You are probably putting the text at the top of the flat, square image. Try putting the text somewhere in the center of the head, so it does not get resized and stretched too much.
