I really can't find a good audio hosting site. And freesound.org has been making me wait for administrator approval for six months.

Try box.net, they have a own player and stuff, pretty comfy upload and download rates.
That's what I use. Besides that they don't delete accs afaik, I haven't uploaded stuff in ages and my files+acc are all still there.
