I thought you had to beat the person with the bounty on their head to claim it. Obviously there is more to it than that, because i ahve defeated at least three people with bounties on their heads and not claimed the prize. How do i win a bounty?

By defeating them before someone else does.

Yeah, i've done that, but i didnt get anything for it.

But i was, thats the thing, the bounty still isnt claimed.

The claimed bounty's dont get removed from the bunty list as far as I know.

Thats not the problem, it was an unclaimed bounty, nobody had claimed it, when i killed the guy i got no tc and the bounty still wasnt claimed afterwards.

Then I guess it was claimed, the list was just downdated...

Or maybe not.

No, it most certainly wasnt claimed, there was no claim date, or a name of the claimer it was an open bounty.
