the main screen of the game isnt showing up in the very beggining all it has is the letter "U" under the trade mark and i cant acctually do anything i have the windows version

If you can't see the menu it means your graphics driver is out of date, you need to download & install a new one.

i did what he told me and now its not working at all

It could be a possiable Bug also, What Version are you playing with?
