ok. after following tonakai's advice
you need to look at your flat.
what you will be doing is when it is ut on your head. essentially bending the flat into sphere.
this is what your head would look like as is on your tori

see how at the back. the hair does not match
up. that is because the two edges of the flat create the back joining point of the sphere version.
what you need to do is line these up almost perfectly so that it looks as smooth on the back as it does the front.
in the attached and eddited flat i have drawn a yellow line as a rough level. and on the other edge i have scribled in the same distance down to match it up in the spinny.

now it is roughly matched up at the back of the sphere. all you need to do is have it lined up!
