do you have a mac? there has been recent shader glitches on macs :|

Eh, that looks like the lack of antialising. Make sure you check those options.

Um, font smoothing only antialiais' the UI's fonts afaik on Macs.

The banding on the sky looks like the colour depth is set to 16bit. :s Odd.

So..nobody knows how to fix this?

Are you running 3.84?
How old is your mac?

I'm running 3.86, the new one (Go to News), and I got my mac laptop in 2008, and it's an 08 model.
