Hey, I have a problem.

Im running an AMD Athlon DuoCore 6400+ with a Nvidia Geforce 9800 gt

When I run Toribash(by itself) My core tempertures jump to 57-58
Idling I'm currently at 16-25.

I've cleaned my fans, reapply thermal paste, you name it.

Is toribash this demanding on my computer or is something wrong?

ur idling temp is good
and ur playing is high for toribash

I am well aware, what do I do?

Add Case fans or upgrade your cooling fans. That got my temps down by 20 degrees.

58 isn't too bad by itself. It's just bad that it goes that high from just toribash. Imagine temps under prime95.

It might be your cooler.


Or have you tried more temp monitoring software?

I usually use CoreTemp, SpeedFan and CPUID Hardware Monitor to see if they show the same value.

make sure you didn't oveclocked anything. try upgrading your coolers.
