The head needs more shading and detail, and the hands shading is absolutely atrocious, despite the factt it is pixel art.

I know it does look horrible at the moment, I'm still working on it and will be adding better pics of it later.

It doesn't look horrible at all. looks pretty good. Could use some kind of dark outline around the visor to add depth. and need something else layered on the sides. But definitely looks nice!

Since shook is a well known pixel artist,I would recommend his advice,you have the potential of being another fawflaw .As for the recolored version,looks good in my eyes.Try to do something special on the triceps and biceps since I think they will be the best part of the set,Can't wait!

Now you said that I kinda wanna do them last. I should really talk to Shook about pixel art but I've been doing it long before I can remember. I guess it was the first time I opened paint, of course I couldn't make anything miraculous back then.
