It's spooky at first, but you start to know that there's an imp around the corner.

But it's still freaking awesome!

I don't quite find anything positive to say about Doom III or it's expansion pack. The style of graphics weren't my cup of tea, and I didn't like the gameplay, or "touch" of the gameplay. The bumpmapping was ridiculously overdone on all the demonic enemies, especially on imps, and the whole game had nothing else but looks (which I - even then when it was the prettiest game ever - disliked), trying to be all cool with it's neat cutting edge graphics. The plot itself was naive and ridiculous: "They're like doing this teleport shit, then there's a portal to hell out of nowhere! Yeah then there's the guy who goes around shooting shit". I want my 9$ back I bought it with.

Doom 3 is not your cup of tea then

I don't care, man is entitled to liking a game and disliking one.

I think its a good game, but i don't like how all of the levels are pretty repetitive =/

Doom 3 isn't overwhelming, indeed.
The gameplay is far from being perfect. There may be some suspense and fun in the beginning but an hour later you smell a hiding zombie from a mile. This neverending search for keycards is also pretty lame.

The story is almost not existent. A portal to hell is opened and now a single marine is going down there and defeats everybody with his shotgun? Wow! I asked myself ever since I played this game how it can be possible that this Betruger guy can turn people into mindless monsters but don't do it to me.

The grafics... well, they look kind af nice but I ain't a fan of them either.

In my opinion even Painkiller is better than Doom 3

doom 3 is oooold, if u looking for an oldish, scary game, i suggest the suffering game scared the shit outa me...

Yeah, Suffering is a cool game. The grafics could be better, though.
