+Tourney Fgts
Something thats happened alot in tourneys. Some guy has tb opened twice and joins the tourney. After he loses, he gets to play again. just sucks in my opinion.
should i like report or something?

It's at the discretion of hoster to watch out for things like these. There is scripts that can detect double I.Ps I personally don't use them. Quite often I have someone at my house playing in my tourneys, or I host at someone else's house. If they join the tourney twice on the same account I can assure you any competent hoster would swiftly kick both accounts.
What about those automatic tourneys? I've seen this so many times now. >_<
I have screens if needed.

Hmm... Perhaps something needs to be implemented into them. I'll mention it to some of the higher ups. See what they have to say.

This support board is for specific problems/bugs.

I think you should post this in the suggestion board instead.
Well Zinx he is asking what should he do when he sees this kinda thing

But to answer the question;

I use the iBot when I host tourneys because iLLepidus made it so that it has a feature where it tracks the same IP Address from players in quene, and it proceeds to kick those players. The only problem with this is; Supposed you had a friend over and he wanted to play TB with you. You have two computers hooked to the same modem or w/e. Since those two computers share an internet connection they also share the IP Address, and in this instance would be kicking two completely different players. Not to many people are computer literate enough to know that you can just refresh the internet connection on the 2nd PC too get a new IP Address or change it via command line.

So this would be easy to implement but its not very accurate, thats the only flaw behind it.

Also yes you should report those players, that would be considered "Double Accounting" I believe...
If you spot someone double clienting in an official server (including tournament) just get a Smod off IRC to stamp on him.
