+Multiplayer Not Connected [Linux]
I've been getting a message saying "Failed to connect to lobby 66.230.225.250.22001 Operation now in progress" every time I try to join a multiplayer server! 
What should I do?

I'm having the same problem exactly. I installed from the Archlinux Gaming Repository and I'm downloading the official tar.gz right now. I doubt it will change anything, though. It's very slow, will take about an hour from now.
Ports 20000-20300 as well as 22001 are open. Anyway, I get the same "Error"
(Update) Found this: Thread I still have the error described in the second post there but I'll check it out first.
(Fix) Get the update from the said thread. Be sure to replace the toribash executable and not some startup script. That's what caused another error for me.

The Windows version is 100% functional in WINE if you want to use a newer version, runs just as fast as the native version.
You can even turn on emulated shaders in the WINE config if you feel like it.
