I recently became interested in Pixel Art.
It’s pretty neat, so I gave it a shot.
I made a balloon, and I think it’s decent for a first shot.
If someone thinks my shading/etc is bad, please comment and tell me how to make it better.

The shading is mediocre.

For a first shot this seems good but i dont have any experience in pixel art so i couldnt say.

I like the shading but i think that when it fades away into white it seems like it is just dissapearing which is kind of confusing because that doesnt make any sense at all.

I like the string i wouldnt change that at all.

The one big thing i would change is to make it seem more rounded because right now it just looks like a box on a piece of string.

Try adding pixels to the sides of the balloon to round it, it's too square.

I'm no expert at pixel art, but I believe shook's said not to use so many white pixels to shade, as it stands out way too much.

Thanks Oyster, Ecto, and Ezeth. I will fix the shading, and yeah I thought the shape was awkward too, and I will fix that as well.

I see that you're showing light at the top corner, The white is too bright and there is so much light it looks unbrealistic.
7/10 for a 1st shot
