moderators on sub forums changing posts
latley my posts in the nz ofical orginization have been being changed to ima ture comments even when what i posted was sensible and reasonable.
the posts they placed were asking for opinoions on which song was better and i answered neither because i didnt like that sort of music. my comments were swiftly changed to sesnless babble. anywway i was wondering on opinons of power abuse in this way and your experiences.

most of the threads have either been deleted or i have changed the comments. i also now two of the moderators as they go to the same school as me.

Well the nz board isn't a serious board. ( no offense ) I mean its not like art or something.

i know its not a serious board i would just like my posts to remain unchanged unless there is a good sensible reason for them to have to be.

eh, next time it happens, check and see who edited the post, then send it to a global mod. Chances are it is just someone having fun and nothing to be upset over, but if it is a problem then I guess something could be done about it.

Whenever a post is edited it will say who did it at the bottom of the post, in italics. If the post is deleted it can still be seen by people with the right powaz.

Mods can do whatever the hell they want, and unless you somehow magically get one of the high ranking mods pissed at them, nothing will happen.

Learn to live with the abusive mods, its one of the perks they get to balance out having to deal with the general shitstorm.

Every sub I have been active within has pretty much had local mods that do whatever they want, so long as they didn't screw with people above them there was nothing done.

I've never noticed any such behaviour from local mods. SMOds perhaps, but you have already justified why it's alright/funny.
