its good not much lag** if you have enough ram to reach up to windows 7 demands like 3gb or 4gb would be a beutiful computer especially a Quad core ^^**
Its very fast. It is faster than xp in my opinion and most programs run lighter on it, which i think is really nice. Its a tidy OS as well tbh, not like windows xp with folders cluttered about. Im not saying xp is bad, i still have it on one of my hdd's because i still quite like it, but windows 7 is my favourite and ive got used to it. And yes, gaming on windows 7 is better, because you dont have all those irrelivant services running

Overall

9.5/10

If you pc is a gaming rig, it's gonna be able to handle it vs xp. It supports more features and games (although there are workarpund if you use xp but they can be a hassle)

basically yes.

I have three GB ram and the single core ( Or whatever ) Processor that came with my computer from the factory.

And I don't have enough money to upgrade my processor.

I have a fairly good Grahics card I think, I frgot what it is.

Not a beast, I've only had it really have trouble on one beasting graphics whore of a game.

EDIT: It's a Radeon HD 4350, is that good?

Honestly.....I have no idea.

How much would it cost to upgrade to a Dual Core processor?

How much for a quad core?

well man here is where the bad news comes in... a quad core it self with no ram is about 200 and to fill it with full 1gb memory sticks it will drop u about 275-390 dollar...

now for dual core probably 95 dollars for the dual core it self ans re use that old 1 gb memory stick and buy a new one for 30 so its about 125-140 dollars for dual

btw i have dual cord and i love it ^^

but dont give up on the quad core maybe you can get it cheaper used?same goes for the dual cord
