Yeah of course i used filters^^ but you have to edit the stuff too not just filter1->filter2->filter3 xD

And i had to edit the smoke aswell so it goes the way i want it to.

I think you had the colored picture, put a black and white filter on it, and posted the images...

It looks like you used a filter on a 3D image(C4D, Blender, etc.) and then did what Dj said you did.

Surely not!

First of all i took a screenshot of my char. Then i used ps to cut him out. Then i used the dodge and burn tool to add depth to it. then i used a filter to get the outlines. after that i edited the outlines with brush/rubber so i get the thickness i wanted. then i put the smoke in it and used the liquify tool to edit the smoke so it goes where i want it to. then i used a layerstyle and colors. now its what you see.

Before you scream FILTERSPAM OMG! I want you to see how to do it. Dont judge too fast...

The thing that's a giveaway that it's faked is the smoke.
If you had really done it with dodge and burn like you say, there is no way in hell you would have been able to colour it like that.

The dodge and burn was..

1. ..to add depth at the very beginning
2. ..to adjust the luminosity of the outlines after the filter i used

And the smoke was o a different layer. Just press strg+u check the box which says colorize and there you go...

the smoke was added later so i can edit everything individual.

So whats the problem about?

Just look at the sign on the cloak.
The signs on his pic and the pic "he started off with" are totaly different.
