[Droid Phone] extending battery life?
i recently bought a motorola devour and i love it. the only problem is that the battery barely makes it through the day, about 12 hours with normal usage (a text every hour or so, 5 of internet once in a while, not being used all the time)

i turned the brightness down to about 30%, does anyone know of anything else i can do to extend the battery life?

Turning off things like wifi, bluetooth etc helps. Get a power manager maybe.
But yea, battery life is pretty shitty on them. I tend to charge mine everyday since i use pandora and the browser a lot.

not only that but there's a program called app killer for the droid phones i think you can get it for free but basically what it does is saves your battery by closing the applications you would otherwise have thought were closed. it may take a second longer to load some applications but this will also increase the total speed of your phone as you'll have less applications running while it also saves your battery.
You don't say?
