im giving it a go at making a NON SYMETRICAL(not flipped) head.

Not much to criticize yet.

They eye looks nice, and so far the shading looks decent.

just call it abstract.
also for a realistic look you shouldn't leave that smudged look.
Edit:unless its furry of course.

Maybe you should make the eye blue with low saturation.
