Often they can tell you the wrong solution or over charge hipotibor, they aren't always good.

Check all the cables are plugging in right, and do you get any beeps or anything on startup?
If you have multiple VGA or DVI outputs try them all (or whatever output you use)
Unplug your graphics card and replug it. Plus double check the screen cable.

maybe your graphics card isnt in properly try giving it a push.
are all the power inputs pluged in your computer mite not be getting all the power it needs.
Try checking for surges, if you touch a connection on your computer it could be bye bye.

our bodt natuly produces ac static, computer use dc if your body transferd any ac static to the computer you have burnt out a component you should never try to fix a computer your self with out proper tools inc antistatic bands these can save you and your pc

i agree 100%

a computer shop would likely tell you your motherboard was fried like what happened to my friend a few years back when all he had was a bad vga port

what i suggest is try to re trace all your steps from the time you started to replace the fan until you tried to turn it on. see if you remember un plugging something and not plugging it back in or flipping a switch off without flipping it back on.
You don't say?
