I wanted to take a shot at doing Pixel Art with the Toribash body, and I think I proportioned it perfectly this time around.

it looks nice.. but idk there is something about it that makes it look long

35 colours is a bit much, you could pull off a very similar image with only 10 colours.
Proportions look good, but the legs seem a tad short, and the body a tad long.
a sense of depth is not achieved, actual lighting and shading does not work like that, especially on the cylindrical legs and spheres.

but that's just my very critical critique, you do show promise I encourage you do keep pixeling because it's quite fun :3

Chest doesnt connect with pecs like that its annoyin me fix it ;p And pecs are too small and arms are too big fit those and its better thou theres alot other crap im lazy to mention. But as overall good job

I used a lot of colors to get a hair-fine gradient for the body pieces. If I knew another way to shade, I would have done better with that, too. I may not have a lot of depth, but I am happy with this result.

You should google 'dithering'.

The shading is pretty bad in my opinion, you didn't really think about the shapes of the pieces or the way light would fall, and this resulted in a very flat and lifeless looking tori.

It looks to me like the legs are too small, check your dimensions against a screenshot.

The right glute is also dodgey.

It looks nice but better to give some space in lags, lags are too small. It will looks nice and yes, reduce orange colour. Use some contrast colours like black and white, pink and Gray, green and red etc.

The forearms need to be thinner and the hands smaller.
The legs need to be thicker and the same width

I think the chest joint should be a tad bigger. But besides that, it looks fine.
