GUI and BUMPMAP textures
Could somebody please explain what those are?

I don't understand what makes bumpmap textures different from regular ones and I have no clue what GUI textures are for.

As for GUI textures, could you tell me what each of them do?

Bumpmap textures supposedly make your textures "bumpy" according to the image. They have been broken for a while, and I don't recommend buying them.

GUI textures are the start menu texts. Each item changes one object in the start.

What do you mean bumpy? As in they make the outlines better seen?

Thanks.

Edit: Didn't I meet you in ninjutsu a few days ago Itachi?

Some parts of the texture will appear raised up, some lowered.
Not by a lot. Just enough so you can tell it's bumpy.
It makes textures seem a bit more realistic.

If you want an expert definition,

Thank you Blam.
Yes. Rendering BUMPMAP textures in Toribash = Unstable at the moment.

Sometimes, they might not appear as the bumpmap texture that it's supposed to (no 3D effect for some reason), and personally, it's crashed my client a couple of times. It's not a suggestion to use them at the moment.

And Ohai btw. :3

Bumpmaps are the last things that the developers are worrying about now, on top of recoding the whole forum, and the usual.
