When ever I am in freeplay mode tori is always above the ground by a few meters, on all gamemodes, is there some kind of an option to set the spawn hight or something?

eerrrmmm....did you change the player position one time (in gamerules)?
if you untick the option "remember game rules", it should be okay again.
if not, reinstall the game.

erase all the numbers in ''player pos'' and press free play again
That worked for me.
If doesn't work, reinstall toribash.

Thanks guys, went to game rules and noticed that height was set to 7.
