No, the scanlines will ruin the whole thing. Place the text in a font without blending options next to the guy's head. You might add a border. Also, try to add a lightning dot from the right side so it's more clear where the light comes from. Try to ''blend'' the guy more in with c4d's, splatter brushes or smudging.
