Laptop problem.
I have a Dell vostro laptop that has a windows vista 64-bit operating system on it. Just anyway, the problem happens when it tries to connect to the internet. For some reason it knocks out the whole wireless network. Does anyone have any possible fixes?

hycx might be right. restoring your computer is one of the best ways to fix it. it always works for me
Think that the router might be faulty, im going to re-install the wireless card + drivers for it.

i would rather reinstall the drivers as you stated Dj, the router OR the adapter can be at fault and one way to check after reinstalling software is to try another computer.

if another computer works just fine duplicate the settings the adapter uses on it with the problem adapter

if both computers have the same issue reset the router, go into router settings and default wireless options(saves time because i can't tell you specifically what would cause that). after options are defaulted change them back one by one and check to make sure the problem is gone.

getting into the router is easy btw, you have to find your wireless adapter and check status then details, that will show you your ip, take the subnet gateway and enter it into your internet browser

you might have a username and password but unless you changed them yourself or someone else has then they should be default user/pass combinations
You don't say?
Yeah the admin/password login is completely screwed, I can't figure out the login to save my life. When I'm on my desktop it's just fine. When my laptop tries to connect it just stops the whole network so I'm not sure on this one. Im gonna try re-installing the drivers and post results.
