My computer boots up and makes me selects this:

-Earlier version of Windows
-Windows 7

How do I get rid of the earlier version? I want to remove it from the selection so I can boot without selecting windows 7 anymore.

This sounds like u installed win 7 on a different partition than u're previous windows
I'd format the partition u have the old system. Change it so it is not a boot partition and thats about it

To do all of that left click on my computer>manage>disk management

and go
