The NEW and IMPROVED Army thread!

The new system is based on skill in individual modes rather than dans.

We will have one tournament for each mode to place the clan members originally, and rank the top four based on how they placed in the tournament.

To move up in rank, you must challenge the person who is one rank above you to a best of ten fight in the mode that you're challenging for.

If you are challenged, you have one week to reply, or you lose by default. (I reserve the right to look at each case individually should extenuating circumstances occur).

The fight must be set at a time when both players are available. If a dispute occurs, come to me.

Competitions: To win a competition here is how it follows:

• Competitions will be held until everything is filled, and do not fret, if you missed, read the RULES section below.
• Matches will last for a total of 30 minutes. (Unless specified otherwise)
• The player that wins the most matches in the given timeframe will place first on the roster, the player that wins the second most matches, will place 2nd, and so on.

Rules:
To win a rank you can do a few things.

• Play in a competition that will be hosted until all modes have their top 4 players
• Afterwards, if you have trained and believe you can truly be on that top list, you have the right to challenge the 4th player to a specified match, and if you win, you take their spot.
• People already on the top 4 can challenge likewise, only 1 person above them though. And upon winning, you take their spot.
• All of these types of matches will be best of 10. Tiebreaker will follow if necessary.
• After challenging someone, and loosing, you must wait up to 2 days to face off against them again, so prepare wisely.
• If you won, the person must wait 2 days to face off against you to fight back to regain their spot.
• Anyone not affiliated directly in the challenge may and that still abide to the rules above, can challenge directly after this match. So 1st person is taken over by 2nd person, the new 2nd person can immediately be challenged by the 3rd for their rank, and so on.

You can challenge TehBasher at judo or wushu to move into that position, as he's currently 4th in both of those.

we are having tournaments but Treydude hasnt set up any... plus our clan is going under some revision, and VolcanoX is trying to do some stuff.

I'm planning one now.
I want it to be a time when I can actually be there to moderate.
I get my work schedule for March tonight(I hope) and then I'll be able to set up the next tourney
