bad idea. will show you and others little experiment (to proove that if you dont want to loose in quality and details, stretching/scaling not recomended)

50% stretching (like most texturmakers do)

I'm away from this long time ago, and drawing only in 100% 512x512.
Scaling it to 1024 only when use polar coordinates filter, then back to 512 and leaving only top( and cleaning it carefully). Thats why top of my heads a little bit blury..
