This may be because I'm spartan, but I love war, war for oil, and that shit is gay, but war for land, and honorable things is fantastic !

War should not occure for oil and such. But peace will never happen on earth. it's against our greedy nature in my opinion. Although It would be great.

in a less trolly statement, every time the US goes to war, shit hits the fan, I think I'm seeing a pattern here. going to war for money and power is cool and all, but going to an extremely expensive war and not getting any loot isn't exactly the best tactic ever

I think war is always useless, money? Power? Do you need it to live happy?

unessesary is a better word, but hey, people love unessesary, people will get an unessesary flat screen while having a black and white tv or something because it's awesome, but almost nothing is "nessesary". it all breaks down to personal gain, what makes you happy in the short term? that's what controls society and provokes war

Depends on point of view

Point of view 1: Why war? Millions of people die. millions lost their's family, millions gets homeless. war shouldn't exist.

Point of view 2: War maybe is nescessary, but depends, after every war, example World War 2, even if people die, after it, tons of technologic evolutions happen.

These sum up war somewhat accurately.
