I believe fate loosely surrounds luck.
Where luck always resolves the smaller things in life, fate helps aquire the larger things that require the input of other people e.g. wife, job etc.
I how ever believe that you create your own luck and that if you really want something, youk should try your best to 'fix' the game so the odds are in your favour.
