Can you run/jog a mile without stopping?
A mile is a little less than two kilometers if you guys use metric.

But yeah, I can almost do it. I'm out of shape and all (213lb, 5ft 11in), and I can run about .8 of a mile. I've improved dramatically from not being able to jog a half a mile. I'm going for a mile and a half by the end of 2011

I recommend you guys go try it out. Go on google maps or something, and try and map out a mile somewhere, on some road. See how you do. I can achieve one mile in about 9 minutes, too. I'm working on improving that aswell.

How in shape are you guys?

Get out of the dark, and go run.
Thanks.
I'm 6' maybe a bit over by now, and weigh 180lb. I can only run about half a mile . Running is a lot more fun to me though, now that I have some vibram five fingers.
During cross country season I run upwards of 50 miles a week. Currently I'm doing tapered runs to increase my current track pr's but even still I am looking at about 30-40 minute runs.

Next month I will begin training for a marathon I will be running over the summer. (26miles if you didn't know)
I can jog 6km without stopping, in about 30 mins. Mind you, I play a lot of sport and do a fair bit of other exercise.
I like my steak cooked Bleu.

I'm not sure you can jog 6km without stopping in only 30 minutes.

I get tired easy, and I haven't done much cardio in a while, so at the most I can jog 1 km without stopping.

I can jog for a mile straight, but probably no more than that, In Gym recently we've had to run for 18 and 20 minutes straight, and I got a 5/5 on that, so a mile shouldn't be too hard.

(Also i'm 12, 172 lbs, and 5'9" :< .)
