Inactivity and Recruitement discussion
This is being discussed everywhere but no decisions are being made.
This thread is dedicated to the discussion of how VorteX members should be recruited and how inactive members should be handled.
The poll :
Its in the context of posts in the VorteX forum/threads
Our current rules are :
Recruitment :
- need to be invited by a current member
- need 100 posts or more
- know at least half of VorteX members
- need black belt or higher
- pass the ingame tests
Inactivity :
- none

I'll start us off. As a suggestion, instead of having 100 posts, why don't we accept new people conditionally for 3 months(provided they have all other requirements. black belt, past the tests, etc. Making them a half-member or temporary member). In this 3 months they get monitored, if they are active enough for the 3 months they get accepted as member. They will then be monitored for a further 3 months, making 6 months in total to see if they will stay active. In the 6 months they can be kicked at any time if they are not up to standards.

sounds good but u should make a rule having to hang around here and ingame around VorteX member, or is that what u were tryin g to say but y didnt understand it?
i support the idea but before they get half membership i think they have to hang around servers at leats a month or so.

yes there must be a rule or set of guidelines or requirements which they will he monitored against to see if they meet the criteria. those requirements would need to be discussed. it could be something like
- make 10 posts a week in vortex forum
- get 50 qi per month
- make 10 posts a week in vortex forum
- get 50 qi per month
We could rise the activity requirements and maybe remove the invite only thing.
Imo, stating that is kinda unnecessary and it makes a lot of people not being able to join us (even if they would be good clan mates). The point I'm trying to make is: we won't accept people that haven't hung out enough with us either way, so why should it be invite only?
In example, I was invited only after I wrote an application. That's basicly just what others do - write an application and get in. I think that this would be a better way of getting people (but we still should mention in requirements to hang out with us).
