Keyboard or a headset?
I'm thinking of buying a Das Ultimate keyboard and a SteelSeries Siberius v2 full headset.

I have 140 dollars to spend.

I already have a keyboard, but some keys don't get recognized all the time, especially if I type really fast.
I have headphones as well, but I'm thinking of buying a headset that's pretty cheap. The reason I want to get a new headset is because my other headphones are for drumming and don't sound too good. Also, the headphones tug and pull my hair, and some hair gets caught on it..
I don't really know if the headset is a good one, and I don't need any comments about it. I heard good things about it and it's a pretty cheap headset, so I'm going for it.

Which should I buy? Headset first, or the keyboard? I'm thinking the keyboard, because I have 140 and its 130, and the headset is 90, and I could earn for that some other time... but I keep thinking maybe I need the headset more.

I'll put up a poll maybe, vote and post the reason.

i have a 5 dollar headset and it works great... i'd sugest buying the keyboard first....though for 130 i'm thinkin youre gettin scammed here
for 100+ dollar keyboards i'd buy a laser virtual keyboard.. i dont see why you'd need a das ultimate unless all you do all day is type 8 hours a day straight.

maybe buy a keyboard thats more worth it same with the head set you oculd get some dre beats for same price....why not research before you buy.

Never, ever, ever buy headsets. It is a far better idea to get a good set of headphones and a $10 Logitech clipon mike. That way you'll pay less, get headphones that actually sound good, a mike that actually records sound properly, and the chances of something breaking are exponentially lower.

Now as to the keyboard, Das Keyboard make very good keyboards (I use the Model S Ultimate myself), but they are quite expensive. If you are really keen for an amazing quality mechanical keyboard then get it, otherwise just get the Blackwidow. The build quality isn't quite as good (it is Razer after all) but it is still perfenctly functionable.
What dall said. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you need to spend it on the best you can get.

I've heard very good reviews about it and want to choose it, and it is a mechanical keyboard, and I hear that $100+ mechanical keyboards are pretty worth it.

If I should get some cheap headphones and a mic seperately, which headphones are good for me?
I don't like headphones that when you make it bigger, the extending line thingy gets stuck on my hair and it pulls and hurts. I like the headset I mentioned because it won't get stuck on my hair and pull it.

No, I was saving up originally for the Das, but I wondered maybe I needed the headset more.

Well you'd be hard pressed to find a new mechanical keyboard for under $80. Finding a good one under $100 is impossible.

Depends on a number of factors. What's your price range, what music do you listen to, will you be wearing them outside, and do you need them to be closed (i.e. sound won't escape)?

Unless you are getting serious about games or are part of a WoW guild you probably won't need it.
I think that +100 dollars for a keyboard,it's total waste of money, i have a 10 euros and works fine.
But your money your choise
Do you really think you're in control
