So I have had two fish tanks. A 20g and a 10g. My fish pretty much all died in my 10g.

So I cleaned it out and was going to do a restock of new fishies. Then before I fill it up with more water I am like "omgwtfbbq i need toadz liek nao" So I did some research and then went to Petsmart and bought myself 3 Fire Belly Toads.

I love them to death, but most people frown upon them. I want to know the communities view on them. Do they make good pets? Would you get one?

From what I've heard, they taste pretty bad. ;D

Also, I'm not the biggest fan of toads/frogs.

My friend had a frog or something when we were about eight. Every night the stupid thing would get up and make a ton of noise and wake us up. This has caused me to dislike toads and frogs.

I had a frog when i was a kid.

Then I some time later I decided it looked lonely, so i bought two more frogs and put them in the same tank.

Why would someone frown on that? Of course, this is coming from a guy that has 2 pet rats.

I think older people will frown upon them because they think frogs are slimey and squishy, but I am more of a fluffy animal type person, and like Toast said, they can make too much noise so I don't really trust them.

Oh yes. They make lots of noise. It not very load though. And I also have furry pets :3

As far as pets go I'm a reptile guy, so I guess I am much closer to your end of the spectrum than most. I can fully see and understand your attraction to them as a pet, they look badass.

i used to have small frogs and a big albino frog the albino ate like 2 of my 10 frogs and about 2 years later the small frogs died and 2 years after that the big one died. so i kinda dislike frogs since i remember it dead with its mouth open. creepd me out

oh I am sorry to hear that tristan :[ but fire bellies have a 15-20 year lifespan haha
