I tried them both with the ingame Torishop, and they are practically the same color. http://toribash.com/colors.txt confirms this.

You do have eye-problems.
Look carefully,
You'll see a slight change of color
and a separator in the middle.
But to be honest, it's sort of the same,

I agree with Kreat0r. You can see a little seam of a slight color change.

That proves that Dragon is a bit darker than Amethyst.

Read this:
31. dragon 255 51 230 0
27. amethyst 255 51 242 0
look, it is different. Amethyst is 242
and dragon is 230

Dragon is Darker than Amethyst
Aqua is Darker than Neptune
Helios is Darker than Ecto

Supernova is Brighter than Vampire
Toxic is Brighter than Acid
Pharos is Brighter than sapphire

But It Would Be Better For One Of Them To Be Changed To Avoid Confusion .

I know they are different colors, and they look too similar. On my monitor, it is harder to see the seam.
