Hello. I am a fan of this game, and would like to try it online. However, before I go embarrass myself, and lose 50 matches in a row due to lag, I'd like to know if there's anyone who knows more about connections than I do.

I have two connections that I often use. My home connection has a nice constant speed, but it's a DSL connection. The connection at the college I go to is usually very good, but varies wildly at times.

Which connection would be better for Toribash? Also, if I do have to connect with a bad connection, would it affect the server I join and the other players? (I ask the second question because I once crashed a server on another game that way.)

Any help on the matter would be highly appreciated.

If you join a server and you are getting lag spikes, the entire server will be affected. I'd go with the faster connection.

Well, like I said, the connection at the college varies wildly. But in the afternoon, I think there's some time where the connection is consistent. I'll try it next time I get a chance. Thanks for the help.

Dont worry about it until you notice a problem. Both connections will do fine.
