I want to know if there is something I can do about flames. I know about the /opt particles 0, but I find that stupid when I'm watching peoples replays, I tend to lag and not see the replay as well. And I find it pointless to use /opt particles 0 everytime I watch someones replays, and close it right afterwards.

I wanted to know, is there some sort of thing I can go into and disable flames all together? like delete so and so to never see flames. Something like that, because I'll never be able to buy a flame, and I can't even play a match with the most simplest flame, I just simply lag too much. Any suggestions??

It was useless. Purchasing a new computer solely for flames to be supported is unlikely. Not to mention the poster simply wanted a way to get rid of flames, not just make them supportable. Don't make these posts again.

delete the flame custom file of the replay maker.

if you don't have a shortcut to toribash on your desktop or anywhere else, create one. right click it and select 'properties'. in the 'shortcut' tab, look at the 'target' box. should look similar to this: 'C:\Games\Toribash-3.91\tb.exe'. at the end of it, add a space and then '-particles 0', so it should look like 'C:\Games\Toribash-3.91\tb.exe -particles 0'. press Apply then OK and start toribash using the shortcut.

(by the way, this is for windows, dunno if it works on mac. also for XP users the file path in the target box may be different)
