For the bottom put a dark red
The top but a dark blue and make the RVNG! In a mixture of graidents for white and black.

thinking of remaking it from scratch, if I do I'll take that into consideration.

Yes, I like the simplicity and the gray/white combo. I disagree with Agent, let it stay in it's current colors. Very nice.
BUT, the text has a weird pattern, and should not be in these colors.
