Ok let me first start by saying, I know after writing this many people are going to think im a softie a weenie and even an idiot but truth be told, I dont really give a flying shit!

The issue thats bothering everyone nowdays is about the amount of clans in Toribash. "omg theres like 30+clans" or "Oh no not another noob clan". Im going to explain this on my perspective because my whole idea of this game and the way I see it has changed overnight. This may seem offensive but please dont be offended its just what I think.

When we all started playing toribash, remember the amount of fun you had, everytime you fight you would lose and think to yourself aah Ill just try again and you kept trying to win a match whilst having fun in the meantime. Then weeks go by and you start winning more and more matches and then, when you lose you start to feel this "feeling of failure in some way" thats when you start pushing yourself harder and harder until.......You lose complete sight of what the game is really about and thats having fun.

Now about all these clans that are popping up or trying to become official. we call them "noobs" but I mean theyre the only ones with the real sense of what the games about, say its just some guy that wants to start a clan with a few of his buddies and to get a server so that they can alter the game modes and have just plain and simply have fun. Now us the more well known members of the community are so driven to become the most popular, or the most well known in our community that we see all other players as just being "there".

Now time to face the reallity.......this is a +/- 17 mb freeware game with 2 characters and a bit of physics added to the movement. This is not an accomplishment to become the best known Toribash player, +/- 60,000 people are logged in out of the billions of people on earth, noone else besides you and the toribash community gives a flying fuck if you just won a 200tc competition. try telling someone who doesnt play toribash, they wont give a shit. But im not being mean all im trying to say is, why not think of life as a sort of "community" just like this one. Try and make real accomplishments. try and be the best in real life!

The whole point im trying to make is, we should stop taking this game as our life there are more important things out there than to be worried about wich new "noob" clan just started. So please people I want to leave you with this thought,

this is a game just have fun

clans and not having a life don't tie together that much...

I under stand you, but I don't like it. I know they want to have "FUN" but there are other servers, am I right? Good opinion and everything but I do think there is too many clans.

Aaron, can I ask why the fact of too many clans is bothering you like just one good reason?


I just want people to see that this whole oh 40+ clans now thing is because NABI wants players of any type to get along and have fun not because theyre being jerks, its not about us, its about everyone ~equality~

Not really, "nabi" wants more money. By more clans more people spend tc to get their clans official and stuff. Anyways this thread is quickly on its way to being a flame thread.

Yes there is nothing wrong with many clans.
Now, i can see how it can be annoying, but what can you do?
If a person decides to start a clan with some people he likes and wants to associate himself with, why can't he? If they can come up with enough people and tc to pay for the server, there is no reason why they can't become official. And renown in the community should have nothing to do with it, although it would help them as a clan founder to get people, i suppose.

Yeah, I gave my honest opinion as well. If you don't like people saying they don't like clans, leave it be. It's their opinion, you like alot of clan I'll leave it be I respect your opinion.
