Total Miner: Forge
Has anyone ever heard of the Xbox Arcade Indie Game "Total Miner: Forge"? It's pretty much a generic Minecraft for Xbox. It recently got an update so it's so much better than it used to be. I just want to see if there's anyone in the community playing it, and what do you think about it.

it is wierd...
And its pretty much influensed by minecraft like the majority of the "block adventure building games" nowadays, and if i should think in the same tracks you are.. then Notch pretty much ripped the basics from infiminer?

Indeed, the basics, but thats not the point, Total Miner stole pretty much everything from Minecraft, the types of blocks etc.
Its just minecraft with an avatar and the mobs removed :S

Minecraft sold as good a indiegame could sell,
WHO wouldn't follow these steps ?
If any of these games would have been better then minecraft then the gamers wouldn't have their mouth full of opinions.

Its a new genre, dev's are expanding it. Simple as 1, 2, 3.

Easy right? I still think they stole the idea and ripped it off thinking "OOOOH lets make minecraft for the xbox and people will come buy it because its the closest thing to minecraft there is"

Well, basically, thats what most probably what happened. Not necessarily saying that the guy wanted to "rip it off", but it was for the people who love Minecraft but couldn't get to a computer or pay for it. No one really thought Minecraft would be a console game until most recently. So they made Total Miner for hardcore console gamers. But, now Minecraft is coming to Xbox, and soon there will be no need for Total Miner. But, for now, we play it.

Well, minecraft has been planned to be on xbox for a long good time now if im not totally incorrect ?

Yea, but, it's still yet to come, so people use Total Miner as a place holder until it does.
