First steps in pixel art.
I really like this style so I decided to try it myself.
The result is a self-portrait avatar.

Still learning to choose proper colours.

the proportion between head and hair seems wrong.

Lel, yea. It was summer time, and the temperature was quite high even in apartments.
Also what do you mean by proportions between hair and head?

it's like that hair is placed wrong... low it a bit, it's to high i think....

I used to have long hair. That's why it looks like that they are too high.

Pretty swell, the proportions on the forehead are off a little(Well, unless you look like frankenstein, then it's spot on) one eye is bigger than the other, however: If you were going for that sort of semi-rotated stance, you should make that clear by adding the correct shadows/shading by complenting the brow area mainly(Example). Another thing is that the way the shadow on the chin ends so abruptly looks like your chin is popping out and bending to the right. I don't know much about pixel art, so I can say wether this is great or not, all I know is that is some things that you can do to improve this piece.
